Yard Light

The guy who did our septic field suggested we should put in a yard light while we had trenches dug. He provided the pole for it which turned out to be a huge utility pole, I have no idea how tall it is, over 30 feet I think. It's out by the pond which wasn't very full when this photo was taken at night. I suspect there may be more light reflection now. I'll have to test it out. It's 15,000 Lumens, all LED.

night of the install
Speaking of ponds, this is how it looked yesterday afternoon after about 4 days of slow filling just leaving the flowing well open.

This photo shows the location of the light pole.
Originally Hal was supposed to install the light while the pole was on the ground but the septic guy was worried the light might get damaged if something went wrong will erecting the pole so he brought his man-lift over and said he wouldn't charge for the rental. Hal is the tall guy seemingly attached to the pole wiring it up.

This is how deep it is after the digging was finished. It's probably about 8 feet at the lowest point.

Finished depth
Kaylee checked out the pond shortly after the heavy rains.
after a couple days of rain
Time to go over and see how deep it is today.
