We finally got some roofing steel up a few days ago, 2 pieces, the winds were fairly cooperative. I had drilled the holes a couple weeks ago but the winds were either too strong or from the wrong direction.
In the meantime Hal added more girts to the garage walls as well as framed in its windows, man door and the doggie door. He has also started to notch the floor beams into the posts along the outer walls. Eventually the floor joists will attach to them. Those are the big boards tinted orange, you can sort of see one on the left side of the photo. Closeups below.
