I have one working kitchen sink.

Today my Corian countertops were installed. The color is Rosemary. They did a nice job; the seam is hard to see. I got the integrated seamless sinks, too. Tomorrow Hal is going to start installing the plumbing. The photos are rather washed out from the sunlight but the final photo with the green cabinets is the closest to how it really looks.
Appliances will be delivered next Wednesday, a week from today. Except for the fridge, may be March before that comes in.

Hal got the sink installed the other day. I sealed the granite (Blue Pearl) counter yesterday, still need to install the backsplash. Because of the way the vanities are constructed, Hal had to move the drain and then I filled it all back in and painted. Neglected to get the paint photo, but I have to admit that both bathroom fixes came out well.

I've been moving kitchen equipment that I won't need at the farm over to the Palace. It feels good to move things over, but I will be so happy when the countertops and appliances go in. Last week the guy came out to measure for the Corian counters, supposedly they'll be installed next week. Looking forward to it but nervous something will go wrong.

They only spent 3 hours working today because they didn't bring all the boxes of LVP! But they got this far, and I love it. The younger of the flooring guys even helped move the gas stove out and back.
Today I vacuumed up as much dust as I could in preparation for the LVP flooring going down tomorrow. I already did more leveling and sanding the previous 2 days, I needed the dust to settle out before I finished vacuuming. At the same time, M started installing the LVP flooring in the master bath. Hal created the luan oval toscrew the toilet flange onto and leave the floor floating.
Hal and M also placed the vanity in the master bath, top isn't glued down yet but it's ready to be worked on as soon as we have the time.
Yes, we're not quite finished, there are a couple of panels to be installed, cabinet doors to be adjusted and knobs handles to attach but the big goal of having all the cabinets installed has been met. It is enough that I have the flooring scheduled for the 12th of January. Now that will make the place really feel like a home!
I also called the KD about templating the counter and she said the appliances should be on site. I called the appliance seller about delivery, and she said the counters should be done first. Besides which the refrigerator, ordered in January 2020 is still not in and she doesn't want to set up a bunch of deliveries and installations, but do it all at once... So, while I figure that all out, at least I'll have a floor in 2 weeks@
The island construction started yesterday. M was just a powerhouse putting this together. Hal and I were essentially the support crew, though Hal did create the cut-outs for the steel support brackets. It is very possible this will be finished in a couple of days as we already have the countertop! Have to let the top acclimate in place first.

I'd say this is a pretty nice new year's gift! And many thanks to my sister's boyfriend, M, for working so hard on making it fit together beautifully! Hal cut a piece of OSB for a temporary counter.
